Milk production dropped by 2.3% in the first month of 2021.
Ukraine saw a decline in foodstuff output in January 2021, in particular, egg production stood at 1.018 billion eggs, which was 16.3% down year-over-year (y-o-y).

Meat production in the first month of 2021 fell by 2.9%, to 313,000 tonnes. That is, enterprises cut meat output by 2.1%, while private farmers reduced the production by 4%.
At the same time, milk production dropped by 2.3%, to 531,600 tonnes y-o-y.
In particular, private farmers saw their milk output shrink by 5.2%, while agricultural enterprises increased milk production by 1.9%, the report said.
