Deputy Minister for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture Taras Kachka, who is also the country's trade representative, has predicted that in the next ten years the rules of international trade will noticeably evolve.

"In the next ten years, we will see the evolution of the very rules of international trade," Kachka told He a panel discussion of the draft National Economic Strategy until 2030.

"This is an extremely important thing. Today, the existing rules, on the one hand, are fair, but on the other hand, they always play into the hands of developed economies, not developing ones. And our task for economic diplomacy is to ensure that the evolution of rules that will take place makes the work of our companies abroad comfortable," said Kachka.

The evolution of the public procurement market in Europe and the United States is already being observed, while environmental initiatives are also being implemented, which will be applied in import controls.

Deputy Economy Minister Oleksandr Romanyshyn said the existing export strategy could be updated.

"We plan to analyze the results of the current export strategy implementation and develop recommendations for updating it for the years to follow," he said.
