Hryvnia strengthens to U.S. dollar on March 11

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for March 11 at UAH 27.70 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by four kopiykas.

The official forex rate against the euro for Thursday is fixed at UAH 32.93 per euro – the hryvnia has also gained four kopiykas in value since Wednesday, according to the NBU website.

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for March 11:

• US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,770.16 (UAH 2,774.31 as of March 10);
• EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,293.17 (UAH 3,297.41 as of March 10).

The National Bank set the official forex rate for March 10 at UAH 27.74 to the U.S. dollar, thus weakening the country's national currency by three kopiykas.
