Hryvnia strengthens to U.S. dollar on Feb 17

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for February 17 at UAH 27.83 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by 14 kopiykas.

The official forex rate against the euro for Wednesday is fixed at UAH 33.77 per euro – the hryvnia gained 16 kopiykas in value since Tuesday, according to the NBU website.

• US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,783.04 (UAH 2,796.71 as of February 16);
• EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,377.08 (UAH 3,392.97 as of February 16).

Interbank rate

By 16:00 Kyiv time on February 16, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 27.90/28.92 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 33.78/33.80.

The National Bank set the official forex rate for February 16 at UAH 27.97 to the U.S. dollar, thus weakening the country's national currency by 13 kopiykas.
