Hryvnia strengthens to U.S. dollar on Feb 26

The rate against the euro is fixed at UAH 34.15.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for February 26 at UAH 27.93 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by two kopiykas.

The official forex rate against the euro for Friday is fixed at UAH 34.15 per euro – the hryvnia has lost 22 kopiykas in value since Thursday, according to the NBU website.

Interbank rate

By 16:00 Kyiv time on February 25, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 27.89/27.91 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 34.10/34.11.

The National Bank set the official forex rate for February 25 at UAH 27.95 to the U.S. dollar, thus weakening the country's national currency by five kopiykas.
