Hryvnia weakens to U.S. dollar on Jan 28

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for January 28 at UAH 28.17 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by two kopiykas.

The official forex rate against the euro for Thursday is fixed at UAH 34.12 per euro – the hryvnia gained seven kopiykas in value since Wednesday, according to the NBU website.

• US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,816.52 (UAH 2,815.24 as of January 27);
• EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,412.07 (UAH 3,418.97 as of January 27).

Forex rate for January 27

The National Bank set the official forex rate for January 27 at UAH 28.15 to the U.S. dollar, thus strengthening the country's national currency by two kopiykas.
