Hryvnia weakens to U.S. dollar on Oct 27

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for October 27 at UAH 28.34 to the U.S. dollar, thus weakening the country's national currency by five kopiykas.

The official forex rate against the euro for Tuesday is fixed at UAH 33.49 per euro – the hryvnia gained six kopiykas in value since Monday, according to the NBU website.

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,833.52 (UAH 2,829.11 as of October 26);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,349.08 (UAH 3,354.90 as of October 26).

Interbank rate

By 16:00 Kyiv time on October 26, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 28.33/28.35 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 33.47/33.49.

Forex rate for October 23

The National Bank set the official forex rate for October 26 at UAH 28.29 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by two kopiykas.
