The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has started work on projects in the areas of digitization, innovation, development of digital economy and the strategy for creating a digital state.

This is a joint effort pursued with the Institute of Cognitive Modeling, as stated in the Memorandum of Cooperation concluded between the parties.

"Now Ukraine is rapidly going digital, becoming a global IT hub. My goal in the coming years is to build a digital state that offers comfortable conditions for every citizen," said Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov.

"We have already made a powerful breakthrough in public services – we save time and money for Ukrainians as regards paperwork, we remove queues, bureaucratic processes, and corruption schemes. In order for Ukraine's digital transformation to progress more efficiently and the ministry's products and services to become well recognizable and understandable for people, strategic-level communication is required," Vice PM said.

The founder of the Institute of Cognitive Modeling, Viktor Berezenko, noted that the coronavirus pandemic had accelerated the irreversible process of the world going digital: "It is thanks to the work of the Ministry of Digital Development that Ukraine already has services in place that are still unavailable in many developed economies. And these are not just tactical decisions, but the implementation of a strategic vision for creating a digital state. These are cool initiatives in all spheres of life that everyone will soon experience. Our team will strengthen the communication component of this multi-component process."
