Ukraine's Cabinet dismisses head of Financial Control Office

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has dismissed Head of the Financial Control Office Ihor Buhrak.

The relevant decision was enshrined the Cabinet resolution of April 24 published on the government portal.

"Ihor Buhrak shall be dismissed from the post of chairman of the Financial Control Office in keeping with Part 1 of Article 871 of the Law of Ukraine 'On Public Service,'" the document says.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers in December 2020 created a new body, namely the Financial Control Office, based on the State Audit Service. The Office analyzes information on the use of state resources and undertakes control measures for high-risk operations. The agency is subordinated to the finance minister. The newly created body was then headed by Buhrak.
