The Ukrainian government will issue official email addresses to Ukrainians so that all letters sent by authorities at that address are considered delivered.

Citizens will get an opportunity to voluntarily receive official email addresses along with the new passports, says the relevant bill (No.3860), submitted for Parliament's consideration.

The official email address will also be introduced for legal entities, individual entrepreneurs, lawyers, arbitration managers, etc., as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.

Citizens will receive an official email address through the Diia app – the Unified Portal of Public Services.

Companies, institutions, societies, and individual entrepreneurs, will automatically be assigned such email addresses when registering or amending files at the Unified Register.

The official mail will consist of an identifier, a "@" mark, and a domain name (except for those ending in ".ru").

The identifier for legal entities is set to become their Unified Register code, while for individual entrepreneurs – the registration number of their taxpayer card.

It is expected that the draft law will streamline the process of legal entities' registration and create favorable conditions for doing business in Ukraine, as well as simplify communication between citizens, businesses, and government.

A phased transition of communications into an electronic form is assumed.
