Thus, starting from today, all farmers will annually celebrate their professional day on June 19.

According to the president's decree, Farmers Day was established to promote the development of the farming movement in Ukraine and support the public initiative.

This holiday is dedicated to honoring farmers' contribution to the development of the agricultural sector and food security of Ukraine.

June 19 was chosen as the Law of Ukraine on Farming was passed on that day in 2003.
