Hryvnia keeps climbing: fresh rates for Dec 4

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for December 4 at UAH 28.30 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by 14 kopiykas.

The official forex rate against the euro for Friday is fixed at UAH 34.40 per euro – the hryvnia lost eight kopiykas in value since Thursday, according to the NBU website.

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,830.38 (UAH 2,843.67 as of December 3);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,440.47 (UAH 3,431.60 as of December 3).

Interbank rate

By 16:00 Kyiv time on December 3, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 28.33/28.34 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 34.42/34.44.
