Hryvnia slightly strengthens to U.S. dollar: fresh rates for Dec 7

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for December 7 at UAH 28.29 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by one kopiyka.

The official forex rate against the euro for Monday is fixed at UAH 34.39 per euro – the hryvnia gained one kopiyka in value since Friday, according to the NBU website.

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,829.13 (UAH 2,830.38 as of December 4);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,438.95 (UAH 3,440.47 as of December 4).

Interbank rate

By 16:00 Kyiv time on December 4, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 28.28/28.30 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 34.39/34.41.

The National Bank set the official forex rate for December 4 at UAH 28.30 to the U.S. dollar, thus strengthening the country's national currency by 14 kopiykas.
