Hryvnia weakens to U.S. dollar on Dec 11

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for December 11 at UAH 28.08 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by four kopiykas.

The official forex rate against the euro for Friday is fixed at UAH 33.99 per euro – the hryvnia lost three kopiykas in value since Thursday, according to the NBU website.

• US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,807.50 (UAH 2,804.06 as of December 10);

Interbank rate

By 16:00 Kyiv time on December 10, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 28.07/28.08 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 33.99/34.00.

The National Bank set the official forex rate for December 10 at UAH 28.04 to the U.S. dollar, thus strengthening the country's national currency by four kopiykas.
