Hryvnia strengthens to U.S. dollar on Dec 14

The rate against the euro is fixed at UAH 33.89 per euro.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for December 14 at UAH 27.97 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by 11 kopiykas.

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for December 14:

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,796.66 (UAH 2,807.50 as of December 11);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,389.41 (3,399.46 as of December 11).

Interbank rate

By 16:00 Kyiv time on December 11, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 27.95/27.97 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 33.89/33.91.

The National Bank set the official forex rate for December 11 at UAH 28.08 to the U.S. dollar, thus weakening the country's national currency by four kopiykas.
