Hryvnia strengthens to U.S. dollar on Dec 3

The rate against the euro is fixed at UAH 34.32 per euro.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for December 3 at UAH 28.44 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by 12 kopiykas.

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for December 3:

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,843.67 (UAH 2,855.83 as of December 2);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,431.60 (UAH 3,421.57 as of December 2).

Interbank rate

By 16:00 Kyiv time on December 2, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 28.40/28.42 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 34.25/34.27.

Forex rate for December 2

The National Bank set the official forex rate for December 2 at UAH 28.56 to the U.S. dollar, thus weakening the country's national currency by six kopiykas.
