Hryvnia weakens to U.S. dollar on Jan 19

The rate against the euro is fixed at UAH 34.02.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for January 19 at UAH 28.19 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by 14 kopiykas.

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for January 19:

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,819.26 (UAH 2,805.24 as of January 18);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,401.58 (UAH 3,401.21 as of January 18).

Interbank rate

By 16:00 Kyiv time on January 18, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 28.23/28.25 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 34.06/34.10.

The National Bank set the official forex rate for January 18 at UAH 28.05 to the U.S. dollar.

Thus, the country's national currency remained unchanged compared to the previous day.
