Hryvnia weakens to U.S. dollar on March 12

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for March 12 at UAH 27.75 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by five kopiykas.

Official forex rate

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for March 12:

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,774.86 (UAH 2,770.16 as of March 11);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,317.48 (UAH 3,293.17 as of March 11).

Interbank rate

By 16:00 Kyiv time on March 11, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 27.76/27.78 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 33.18/33.20.

The National Bank set the official forex rate for March 11 at UAH 27.70 to the U.S. dollar, thus strengthening the country's national currency by four kopiykas.
