Hryvnia strengthens to UAH 27.70 to U.S. dollar on Aug 6

The official forex rate against the euro for Thursday is fixed at UAH 32.90 per euro.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on August 5 set the official forex rate for August 6 at UAH 27.70 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by 12 kopiykas.

The official forex rate against the euro for Thursday is fixed at UAH 32.90 per euro – the hryvnia lost 18 kopiykas in value since Wednesday, according to the NBU website.

Regulator's rate

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for August 6:

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,770.28 (UAH 2,782.25 as of August 5);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,290.12 (UAH 3,272.34 as of August 5).
