Hryvnia keeps sliding: fresh rates for Sept 17

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for September 17 at UAH 28.12 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by six kopiykas.

The official forex rate against the euro for Thursday is fixed at UAH 33.39 per euro – the hryvnia weakened by five kopiykas in value since Wednesday, according to the NBU website.

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,811.95 (UAH 2,805.56 as of September 16);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,338.77 (UAH 33,334.41 as of September 16).

Interbank rate

By 16:00 Kyiv time on September 16, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 28.07/28.09 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 33.31/33.34.
