Hryvnia slides to UAH 26.65 to U.S. dollar on June 25

The official forex rate against the euro for Thursday is fixed at UAH 30.07 per euro.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on June 24 set the official forex rate for Thursday, June 25, at UAH 26.65 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by four kopiykas after a four-day rise.

The official forex rate against the euro for Thursday is fixed at UAH 30.07 per euro – the hryvnia gained five kopiykas in value since Wednesday.

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for June 25:

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,665.09 (UAH 2,660.78 as of June 24);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,006.75 (UAH 3,012.27 as of June 24).

By 15:00 Kyiv time on June 24, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 26.66/26.69 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 30.08/30.11.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank set the official forex rate of the hryvnia for Wednesday, June 24, at UAH 26.61 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by six kopiykas. Thus, the hryvnia had seen gains against the U.S. dollar for the fourth consecutive day.
