Hryvnia slightly down to U.S. dollar on Nov 26

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for November 26 at UAH 28.38 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by one kopiyka.

The official forex rate against the euro for Thursday is fixed at UAH 33.78 per euro – the hryvnia lost 10 kopiykas in value since Wednesday, according to the NBU website.

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,838.16 (UAH 2,837.41 as of November 25);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,378.40 (UAH 3,368.01 as of November 25).

Interbank rate

By 16:00 Kyiv time on November 25, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 28.40/28.42 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 33.78/33.80.

The National Bank set the official forex rate for November 25 at UAH 28.3741 per U.S. dollar.

Thus, the country's national currency remained almost unchanged compared to the previous day, November 24, when the official rate was set at UAH 28.3694 per U.S. dollar.
