The country's national currency strengthened by eight kopiykas.
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for November 16 at UAH 28.12 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by eight kopiykas.
The official forex rate against the euro for Monday is fixed at UAH 33.21 per euro – the hryvnia gained six kopiykas in value since Friday, according to the NBU website.
The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for November 16:
US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,811.58 (UAH 2,819.63 as of November 13);
EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,321.18 (UAH 3,326.60 as of November 13).
By 16:00 Kyiv time on November 13, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 28.11/28.13 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 33.23/33.24.
The National Bank set the official forex rate for November 13 at UAH 28.20 to the U.S. dollar, thus weakening the country's national currency by four kopiykas.
