Hryvnia strengthens to UAH 26.67 to U.S. dollar on June 23

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for June 23 at UAH 26.67 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by five kopiykas.

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for June 23:

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,666.95 (UAH 2,672.07 as of June 22);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 2,989.52 (UAH 2,999.53 as of June 22).

By 15:00 Kyiv time on June 22, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 26.67/26.69 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 29.90/29.92.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank set the official forex rate of the hryvnia for Monday, June 22, at UAH 26.72 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by four kopiykas. Thus, the hryvnia had seen gains against the U.S. dollar for the second consecutive day.
