Hryvnia strengthens to UAH 26.72 to U.S. dollar on June 22

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for June 22 at UAH 26.72 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by four kopiykas.

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for June 22:

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,672.07 (UAH 2,676.33 as of June 19);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 2,999.53 (UAH 3,005.79 as of June 19).

By 16:00 Kyiv time on June 19, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 26.72/26.74 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 30.02/30.04.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank set the official forex rate of the hryvnia for Friday, June 19, at UAH 26.76 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by two kopiykas after a one-day fall.
