Hryvnia strengthens to UAH 27.17 to U.S. dollar on July 6

The official forex rate against the euro for Monday is fixed at UAH 30.51 per euro.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on July 3 set the official forex rate for July 6 at UAH 27.17 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by one kopiyka after a two-day fall.

The official forex rate against the euro for Monday is fixed at UAH 30.51 per euro – the hryvnia gained 15 kopiykas in value since Friday, according to the NBU website.

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for July 6:

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,717.16 (UAH 2,718.01 as of July 3);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,050.69 (UAH 3,065.92 as of July 3).

By 16:00 Kyiv time on July 3, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 27.12/27.15 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 30.46/30.49.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank set the official forex rate of the hryvnia for Friday, July 3, at UAH 27.18 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency slump by 41 kopiykas.
