Ukraine's hryvnia strengthens to UAH 26.87 to U.S. dollar on June 1

The official forex rate against the euro for Monday is fixed at UAH 29.93 per euro.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on May 29 set the official forex rate of the hryvnia for Monday, June 1, at UAH 26.87 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by four kopiykas.

The official forex rate against the euro for Monday is fixed at UAH 29.93 per euro – the hryvnia lost 31 kopiykas in value since Friday, according to the NBU website.

By 16:00 Kyiv time on May 29, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 26.84/26.87 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 29.87/29.90.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank set the official forex rate for Friday, May 29, at UAH 26.91 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by nine kopiykas after a three-day fall.
