Ukraine's hryvnia weakens to UAH 27.27 to U.S. dollar on July 17

The country's national currency weakened by 15 kopiykas.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on July 16 set the official forex rate for July 17 at UAH 27.27 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by 15 kopiykas.

The official forex rate against the euro for Friday is fixed at UAH 31.13 per euro – the hryvnia lost 10 kopiykas in value since Thursday.

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for July 17:

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,727.38 (UAH 2,711.90 as of July 16);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,112.90 (UAH 3,103.09 as of July 16).

As UNIAN reported earlier, the NBU on July 15 set the official forex rate for July 16 at UAH 27.12 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by two kopiykas.
