Hryvnia weakens to UAH 26.70 to U.S. dollar on June 26

The official forex rate against the euro for Friday is fixed at UAH 29.91 per euro.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on June 25 set the official forex rate for Friday, June 26, at UAH 26.70 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by five kopiykas.

The hryvnia has been weakening for the second day in a row.

The official forex rate against the euro for Friday is fixed at UAH 29.91 per euro – the hryvnia gained 16 kopiykas in value since Thursday.

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for June 26:

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,670.02 (UAH 2,665.09 as of June 25);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 2,991.22 (UAH 3,006.75 as of June 25).

By 16:00 Kyiv time on June 25, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 26.72/26.74 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 29.94/29.97.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank set the official forex rate of the hryvnia for Thursday, June 25, at UAH 26.65 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by four kopiykas after a four-day rise.
