Hryvnia weakens to UAH 27.60 to U.S. dollar on July 21

The official forex rate against the euro for Tuesday is fixed at UAH 31.59 per euro.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on July 20 set the official forex rate for July 21 at UAH 27.60 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by 24 kopiykas.

The hryvnia has seen losses in value against the U.S. dollar for the third consecutive day, according to the NBU website.

The official forex rate against the euro for Tuesday is fixed at UAH 31.59 per euro – the hryvnia lost 33 kopiykas in value since Monday.

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for July 21:

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,760.11 (UAH 2,736.06 as of July 20);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,159.08 (UAH 3,125.54 as of July 20).

Interbank rate

On July 20, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 27.61/27.63 to the dollar, while those against the euro – at UAH 31.52/31.54.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the NBU set the official forex rate for July 20 at UAH 27.36 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by nine kopiykas.
