Hryvnia weakens to UAH 27.78 to U.S. dollar on July 23

The official forex rate against the euro for Thursday is fixed at UAH 32.19 per euro.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on July 22 set the official forex rate for July 23 at UAH 27.78 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by 12 kopiykas.

The hryvnia has seen losses in value against the U.S. dollar for the fourth consecutive day, according to the NBU website.

The official forex rate against the euro for Thursday is fixed at UAH 32.19 per euro – the hryvnia lost 52 kopiykas in value since Wednesday.

The regulator's rate

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for July 23:

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,777.98 (UAH 2,766.47 as of July 22);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,218.98 (UAH 3,167.19 as of July 22).

As UNIAN reported earlier, the NBU set the official forex rate for July 22 at UAH 27.66 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by six kopiykas.
