Also, Rice recalled that retaining the independence of the National Anti-corruption Bureau, the Special Anti-corruption Prosecutor's Office, and the High Anti-corruption Court is a preliminary condition spelled out in the current arrangement for Ukraine.
The comment comes amid the recent judgment issued by the Constitutional Court of Ukraine that designates the presidential decree on Artem Sytnyk's appointment NABU Director as unconstitutional.
