"This refers primarily to investment in Ukrainian infrastructure – bridges, roads, railways, airports, etc.," the Ukrainian ministry's press service said on May 7.

The parties also discussed exports of Ukrainian agricultural products to Qatar. Kuleba assured that Ukraine could meet Qatar's demand for farm produce.

"Ukraine is ready to be a strategic partner of Qatar in the region. In particular, given its transit potential and the role of a guarantor of global food security. We are ready to work together so that our countries could benefit from such cooperation," Kuleba emphasized.

As UNIAN reported earlier, in May, Ukraine is expected to sign contracts with Qatar-based QTerminals W.L.L. for the concession of the state-run Olvia stevedoring company's port-based property located in Ukraine's Mykolaiv region.

According to Ukraine's foreign ministry, QTerminals will invest UAH 3.4 billion (US$126.8 million) in the port's development within five years.
