Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Vladyslav Kryklii says 20,000 kilometers of roads are to be repaired in the country by the end of 2023.

"The goal is to overhaul 20,000 kilometers of roads of national importance by 2023 inclusive," he said.

Background

Since March 2020, the national Great Construction Program has been underway in Ukraine, which includes the construction and repairing of roads, as well as other infrastructure facilities.
Ukraine's road management agency, Ukravtodor, plans to overhaul about 6,800 kilometers of roads in 2021, which is 2,000 kilometers up from the 2020 target.
