According to the research, the demand for specialists in the IT sector has grown by 50% compared to the previous quarter. Over the past five years, the number of open positions has been growing by about 30% annually, as reported by ITC with reference to a study by GlobalLogic.

Research says the market is experiencing shortage of qualified employees since the number of specialists is growing annually by only 18%.

The reasons for such shortage include the need for systematic training and the difficult process of finding the right specialists. At least nine candidates must be considered per position. It is also noted that large investments are required for internal training for employees to develop their hard and soft skills.
