Remittances to Ukraine from Ukrainian labor migrants working abroad reached almost US$8.5 billion in January-September 2020.
"The NBU has projected that money transfers from migrant workers will significantly decline over the quarantine," the publication said.

Some 507,000 Ukrainian migrant workers officially work in Poland.
In total, at least 700,000 foreigners are employed in Poland.
The largest number of foreigners applying to the Polish authorities for social security were Ukrainian citizens (507,000 people), followed by Belarusians (46,200) and Georgians (11,100).
Ukrainians accounted for 75% of the total number of foreigners in Poland who have received social insurance policies over the past 16 years.
