The Spotify service is available for free or with an upgrade to Spotify Premium, a subscription service that allows users to enjoy music without ad interruptions, it said.

Spotify has redesigned the music experience for Ukraine with a fresh set of exclusive features: Spotify Free to everyone; playlists made for Ukraine; playlists of popular artists (both foreign and Ukrainian ones); Spotify for Artists (the platform offering tools that help artists, managers, and labels to track real-time statistics for new releases, understand their audience); and Instagram music feature activation.

Spotify's Ukraine launch, along with its entry into 12 additional markets, including Moldova, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Russia, Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, and North Macedonia, brings the total number of Spotify markets to 92.

"Launching in these 13 markets is an important moment in Spotify’s journey, especially as we welcome fans and artists in growing music markets like Ukraine, where streaming is growing and where we see a significant opportunity for Spotify," the press service quotes Michael Krause, Managing Director Central Europe at Spotify, as saying.

Spotify, founded in 2008, has a worldwide community of more than 286 million listeners including 130 million premium subscribers, globally.
