Hryvnia weakens to U.S. dollar on October 26

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for October 26 at UAH 28.29 to the U.S. dollar, thus weakening the country's national currency by two kopiykas.

Regulator's rate

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for October 26:

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,829.11 (UAH 2,826.50 as of October 23);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,354.90 (UAH 3,341.06 as of October 23).

Interbank rate

By 16:00 Kyiv time on October 23, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 28.30/28.32 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 33.54/33.56.

The National Bank set the official forex rate for October 23 at UAH 28.27 to the U.S. dollar, having kept the rate at the same level.
