Hryvnia weakens to U.S. dollar on Sept 16

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for October 16 at UAH 28.34 to the U.S. dollar, thus weakening the country's national currency by two kopiykas.

Regulator's rate

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for October 16:

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,833.65 (UAH 2,831.64 as of October 15);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 3,317.64 (UAH 3,339.35 as of October 15).

Interbank rate

By 16:00 Kyiv time on October 15, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 28.34/28.35 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 33.17/33.19.

The National Bank set the official forex rate for October 15 at UAH 28.32 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by seven kopiykas.
