The document "takes into account the needs of the people as much as possible."
Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal says the 2021 draft national budget, endorsed by the Cabinet and submitted to the Verkhovna Rada for consideration, is optimal and realistic in terms of its implementation.
"This is an optimal budget and an optimized document that takes people's needs into account as much as possible. It is realistic in terms of implementation," Shmyhal told a government meeting on September 16, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
National budget's priorities
According to Shmyhal, the support for health care, education, social protection, businesses, defense and security, as well as road construction, are high priorities of the 2021 national budget.
