"The document also provides for other changes. In particular, the list of categories that are exempt from quarantine after crossing the border has been expanded. These are students of different study modes, postgraduate and graduate students who could prove at the border the fact that they study in Poland. Also, this norm applies to scientists who conduct scientific or research work here," the publication said.

As before, crew members of aircraft and ships; people who work on offshore drilling rigs, implement strategic energy projects; drivers engaged in international passenger traffic; international train crews are exempt from a mandatory quarantine in Poland.

In addition, members of diplomatic missions, representatives of international organizations and their families, EU citizens and their immediate family members, residents of other EU countries who travel via Poland are not put in quarantine.
