Three opportunities for Portuguese businesses

The minister briefed the attendees about economic reforms in Ukraine and three key opportunities that Ukraine today can provide to Portuguese businesses and investors.

Opportunity number one

A large-scale privatization campaign is the first of them, the minister said. Kuleba mentioned a transparent and competitive tender procedure and invited investors to join in the large-scale privatization in Ukraine.

Opportunity number two

Digitalization is opportunity number two. The minister praised Portugal's achievements in that sector and spoke about Ukraine's experience and successes in the development of a digital government. "Today Ukraine means thousands of experienced engineers and IT specialists and high-quality products, in particular the Diia [app] platform. It may be of interest to Portugal, and possibilities for digital cooperation are enormous indeed," Kuleba said.

Opportunity number three

The Ukrainian minister listed Ukraine's technology and the aerospace industry as the third opportunity, given the interest in space, which is now growing everywhere, in particular in Portugal.
