Ukraine's State Customs Service says the country's mining and metallurgical enterprises in January-February 2021 exported iron ore raw materials (raw iron ore) worth US$1.07 billion, which was 93% up year-over-year (y-o-y).

Major buyers of Ukrainian iron ore were Poland (9.47% of revenue), Germany (10.23%), and China (40.4%).

Background

Ukraine in 2020 increased revenue from iron ore raw materials exports by 24%, up to US$4.2 billion.
