Ryanair suspends most flights from Kyiv

Flights from Kharkiv and Kherson will also be suspended until the summer season.

Europe's largest budget air carrier Ryanair says it will suspend flights from the Ukrainian capital city of Kyiv on 70% of routes until late March 2021.

In particular, the air carrier will perform only three flights from Kyiv's Boryspil Airport out of 30 until the spring, namely to the cities of Vienna, Berlin, and Valencia, according to the company's booking system available on its website.

As of the end of March, the Ryanair route network from Kyiv will include 26 destinations.

Also, the air carrier will suspend flights from the Ukrainian cities of Kharkiv and Kherson until the summer season.

Only one permanent route from the western Ukrainian city of Lviv to London remained unchanged. Ryanair is expected to resume flights from Lviv to Italy's Bologna from February 1.

The company's winter route network from the southern Ukrainian city of Odesa will include three flights: to Krakow, Dusseldorf Weeze, and Gdansk, which will also be performed from early February.

Noteworthy, the air carrier will suspend flights from Odesa to Krakow for several weeks from January 10.
