Background
In August, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine (CCU) declared unconstitutional the Cabinet's restrictions on salaries of officials and judges during the coronavirus lockdown.
At the same time, the Cabinet maintained a wage cap for members of government at the amount of five average salaries, despite the CCU's ruling.
Salaries of other officials are also capped at said amount.
