Industrial production in October 2020 compared to September 2020 increased by 5.8% without calendar adjustment.
Ukraine in October 2020 saw an acceleration in a decline in its industrial production year-on-year (y-o-y) without calendar adjustment, to 5% after a 4.4% drop in September 2020.
With calendar adjustment, the country's industrial production in October 2020 y-o-y fell by 3.9%, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine said on its website.

Industrial production in October 2020 compared to September 2020 increased by 5.8% without calendar adjustment and by 0.5% with calendar adjustment.
In particular, the mining industry in October 2020 posted a 2.5% decline in output compared to October 2019, while the processing industry reported a 6.6% decrease and there was a 1.8% drop in the supply of electricity, natural gas, steam and air conditioning.
In particular, production of intermediate-consumption goods was 1.2% down y-o-y and that of investment goods 19.3% down, while fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) output fell by 6.1% and energy generation declined by 3.4%.
Meanwhile, production of consumer durable goods increased by 5.4%.
