Retail trade in Ukraine in January 2021 rose by 3.5% compared to January 2020 (in comparable prices).
Ukraine's State Statistics Service released an update on retail trade on its website.

The following regions were in the lead: Kyiv region reported a 13.9% increase; Chernihiv region saw a 10.7% rise, while Zaporizhia region said its indicator grew by 6.9%.
A decrease in retail trade was registered in the following regions: Volyn region, Kirovohrad region, Lviv region, Mykolaiv region, Rivne region, Kharkiv region, Khmelnytsky region, and Cherkasy region.
The State Statistics Service said retail trade in January 2021 decreased by 27.9% compared to December 2020.
