Ukrainian budget's receipts from single social security tax grow by 8.5% in Jan-April

The receipts in April alone shrank by 3.8%, to US$842.3 million.

Budget receipts from payments of single social security tax in January-April 2020 were estimated at UAH 91.99 billion (US$3.4 billion), which was 8.5%, or UAH 7.19 billion (US$268.1 million), up year-over-year (y-o-y).

The receipts in April alone stood at UAH 22.59 billion (US$842.3 million), which was 3.8%, or UAH 882.7 million (US$32.9 million), down against the figure reported in April 2019, according to Ukraine's Treasury Service.

As UNIAN reported earlier, revenue of the national budget's general fund in January-April accounted for 86.1% of the target. The deficit of the budget in the four months was estimated at UAH 23.5 billion, or US$876.2 million.

Budget receipts from payments of single social security tax in 2019 grew by 19.9%, or UAH 45.46 billion (US$1.7 billion) from 2018, to UAH 273.48 billion (US$10.2 billion).
