Cherkasy region turned out to be the only area without complaints about obstacles to imports.
Ukraine's State Customs Service says exporters and importers have improved their assessment of the agency's work since 2018.
That is according to a survey by the customs agency, published in its website on November 25.

In particular, 7.9% of exporters surveyed noted obstacles to exports in 2020, which was 66.7% down from 23.6% of such respondents polled in 2018.
Main obstacles are the lack of simplified rules for determining the origin of goods, long wait for export clearance at the customs, and the unpredictability of Ukraine's trade policy.
At the same time, the respondents noted absence of such obstacles in Chernivtsi, Ternopil, Zhytomyr regions, and Ukrainian-controlled part of Donetsk region.
Exporters from Rivne, Sumy, Kirovohrad, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Poltava regions most often report the said obstacles.
Some 18.9% of respondents noted the barriers to imports, which was almost 10% down from 2018.
Main obstacles are as follows: non-transparency in determining the customs value of goods, the complexity of customs and tax legislation, and high rates of customs duties.

Meanwhile, enterprises in Mykolaiv, Rivne, Poltava, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions most often report such obstacles.
In total, 1,045 enterprises took part in the survey, including micro businesses (42.3%), small-sized (28%), medium-sized (21.4%), and large-sized (8.2%) enterprises.
