Hryvnia continues weakening, set at UAH 28.00 to U.S. dollar on Sept 15

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for September 15 at UAH 28.00 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by 10 kopiykas.

The official forex rate against the euro for Tuesday is fixed at UAH 33.25 per euro – the hryvnia weakened by 18 kopiykas in value since Monday, according to the NBU website.

The central bank has fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for September 15:

Interbank rate

By 18:00 Kyiv time on September 14, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank forex market settled at UAH 27.98/28.00 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 33.24/33.26.

The National Bank set the official forex rate for September 14 at UAH 27.90 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency weaken by seven kopiykas.
